Management Team

Scott Wilson, RCM
President

With more than 25 years experience, Scott is one of the condominium industry’s most active senior experts. He is a Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) and a licensed realtor.
Scott served on the board of directors of the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) for five years - completing his term in 2008.
Scott was a speaker and moderator at the 2004 ACMO/CCI (Canadian Condominium Institute) Conference in Toronto, and the 2006 ACMO/CCI Conference in Ottawa. Scott has written articles on Ontario’s Health and Safety Act and bulk metering for CCI.

Jean Lacroix
Vice President

Part of the Axia team for over 20 years, Jean began his career in the construction industry. He joined Axia as the corporate controller after completing his accounting studies. Jean is currently serving on the board of the Ottawa chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI).

Shawn Paul
Vice President

Shawn joined Axia after completing his Accounting studies over 20 years ago. In his dual role, he manages all condominium financial matters and oversees the daily administration of Axia. Shawn maintains daily contact with each property manager and is always available to review financial matters with condominium treasurers and directors.

Bill Ganas, RCM, CPM®
Director of Property Management

Bill has been a member of the Axia team for the past 20 years. He holds a certificate in urban land management from the University of British Columbia, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Registered Condominium Manager (RCM), and a Certified Manager of Condominiums. Currently, Bill serves on the board of the Real Estate Institute of Canada’s (REIC) Ottawa chapter.

Annette Fleury, RCM 
Property Manager

Annette entered the condominium industry in 1997 as a director of her home condominium. During her seven years on the board she served two years as secretary and five as president. She began her career in 2002 and earned her Registered Condominium Manager (RCM) certification in 2006.
Prior to her career in condominiums, Annette was employed as a legal assistant. She has ten years experience in civil litigation, family law, and estate law.
Annette currently sits on the Regional Committee for the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario(ACMO).

Jim McHugh
Senior Property Manager

An Axia condominium manager for more than 26 years, Jim’s broad experience has been invaluable to the company’s clients. He has been involved in a number of transactions in which condominium ownerships were turned over through Tarion (formerly Ontario New Home Warranty Program). Jim was also brought in to successfully manage several condominiums through major lawsuits in which individual judgments exceeded $1 million.

Draven Darkke B.A. (Hons)
Property Manager

After receiving a B.A. (Hons) from Ottawa University, and with a background in legal and entrepreneur business, Draven was drawn to the dynamic of the housing sector and specializes in commercial and residential condominium management as well as rental management. With over six years in the housing industry, Draven brings a focus of sophistication and detail to condo management that leads through effective strategic planning, foresight and progressive initiatives to strengthen and enhance properties and corporations.

John Brammall
Property Manager

John graduated from Algonquin College in August of 1989 earning a diploma in Construction Engineering. His construction experience includes surveying during the construction of the Museum of Civilization in Hull and through his military service where he gained extensive knowledge in bridge building, demolitions and urban construction.

Tammy Wiedow, FMA
Property Manager

Tammy Wiedow is the newest member of the property management team. She comes to Axia with 12 years management experience and has earned her Facilities Management Administrator® designation (FMA) through the Building Owners and Management Association of Canada (Boma Canada). Tammy is the manager for a 500 unit condominium, the largest in eastern Ontario.

Mike Trickey
Property Manager

Mike joined the Axia team in 2006, coming from the property restoration industry where he served as a Project Manager. Mike specializes in managing day-to-day operations of multi-tenant commercial buildings, commercial condominiums, and residential condominiums.
